💳 Paid Calendar Export & Polar Checkout

• Payments: The optional “Save as Calendar (.ics)” feature is processed by Polar via Checkout. Polar collects the billing details (email, address, payment method) needed to complete the transaction, including billing address where required, and confirms the purchase back to the service. See their Privacy Policy for details.
• Availability: The calendar export is available to users globally.
• File retention: Once generated, the ICS file is stored in a private AWS S3 bucket under a random token and deleted automatically after a short retention window (typically about 48 hours). Download links provided via the site are valid for the same window and are intended for your personal use only.
• Pre-checkout validation: To ensure the export works, the service generates a temporary calendar file before checkout as a preflight check. The download link is only issued after Polar confirms payment.
• Data deletion: The maintainer can delete data they control (like export files and download tokens). Billing details are stored by Polar. At your request, the maintainer can delete Polar Customer objects when possible, but Polar may still retain certain records for legal or compliance reasons. The calendar export is delivered instantly as a digital file, so all sales are final and non-refundable once the download link is issued. Exceptions are rare and handled case-by-case for billing errors or delivery failures as noted below.

• Download issues: If you cannot access the download link on the thanks page, a replacement link may be issued once for the same order after basic verification. Report delivery issues promptly (requests made after 30 days may not be processed).
• Expired links: Download links typically expire within ~48 hours. If the original link expires, a new purchase may be required; re-issuance after expiry is at the maintainer's sole discretion.
• Billing issues: If you see a duplicate charge for the same plan or a genuine unauthorized transaction, contact support first. The maintainer can review and may issue a refund at their sole discretion or direct you to Polar support for resolution.
• Chargebacks: Please contact the maintainer before filing a chargeback so issues can be resolved quickly if possible.
• Timing: Responses and any discretionary resolutions are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed within a specific timeframe.
• Cooling-off waiver: By purchasing, you request immediate access to the digital download and waive any statutory cooling-off/withdrawal period for digital goods.
