Regional calendars

Public holidays, matched to your PTO

Holiday dates are only useful when they match the calendar your employer follows. These regional pages pair government sources with the same calendar logic used by Holiday Optimizer, then show what 10, 15, or 20 PTO days can produce.

All 50 U.S. state holiday calendars

Every state is covered with official sources, state-specific differences, and generated PTO results. Washington, D.C. is included separately.

Ontario

Ontario has nine public holidays under the Employment Standards Act for most eligible employees. The most useful PTO bridges usually sit beside Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, and the year-end holidays.

England

England and Wales share the same bank-holiday calendar. Monday bank holidays create frequent three-day weekends, while Christmas and Boxing Day substitute dates can produce the strongest year-end PTO bridge.

New South Wales

New South Wales has a state-specific public-holiday calendar. Easter creates a four-day block, Monday holidays create easy long weekends, and the additional Anzac Day public holidays in 2026 and 2027 create an extra planning opportunity.
